This Thursday, Oct. 11, is opening day of the 61st Annual Greek Festival.  11AM-9PM, Thurs. through Saturday, the Festival is at  St Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church, 14 West Anderson Street – Savannah GA.  Amazing food, shopping and entertainment !!    www.savannahgreekfest.com  If you share our passion for great Greek eats, you’ll be there all three days!  It’s that terrific!  Oopah!

Eats and drinks galore!

Tenth annual Savannah International Food and Wine Festival on Saturday, September 8 from 4 to 7 PM at 14 West Anderson St., St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church.  About 50 wines will be available and signature dishes from at least a dozen of Savannah’s most popular restaurants, plus a silent auction. Tickets $30 in advance or $35 at the door.  The proceeds of this festival benefit the many local, regional and national charities of the Greek Ladies Orthodox Philoptochos Society as well as their local scholarship fund.  Sounds like a terrific bargain and lots of fun to us.  Cheers!

Now is the Time for All things Greek!

Today is the opening of the 60th annual Greek Festival: food,music, dance, costumes, food and more food!  This will be our 15th year of gobbling Greek, everything from Dolmades to Kataife for three days straight.  The music and dancing are lovely, too, and don’t miss the Greek Grocery Store –be sure to get a jar of their sensational Greek Salad dressing.  And take a gander at the Market!  Best of all, eat, drink, and be merry!   Kali Orexi !                                        You’ll find it all at the Hellenic Center, 14 W. Savannah Greek Festival

Don’t miss this event Oct 15, 16, and 17th at St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church, Hellenic Center.  A drive-thru is available for quick orders on Henry Lane, but if you have a little more time, step inside to enjoy live music, tours of the church, Greek dances, and a Greek marketplace.  236-8256, 14 W. Anderson St.  Admission is free until 4pm on Thursday and Friday, $2 donation afterwards, and all day on Saturday.
