Low Country Boil to go at Murphy’s

You really can’t beat the Low Country Boil at Murphy’s. It’s fresh — prepared the moment you order it — and heaping with shrimp, plus the usual sausage, potatoes and corn on the cob. It’s a big portion, too, so for the average appetite, two can probably share the dish. At least, my husband and I do just that. And at $7.50 you really can’t go wrong. Murphy;s at 1201 Habersham St., Tel: 335-7325. Enjoy!

Low Country Boil Super-deal

Our good friend, Heather L. Young, just dropped us a note:  “Yesterday, I stopped by Southside Shellfish…the place I painted the mural on the exterior of the glass. Not only are they a great fresh seafood market…for $7.50 you can get the most delicious Low Country Boil meal you have EVER had in  your life!  I bought two, one for me and one for Aunt Pam…and we easily could have shared one.  Oh and there was a bonus–They even threw in a few crab claws…HEAVEN! At $ 7.50, that’s the best kept secret on the Southside…”  Sounds good to us….!
