Manager’s Reception at the Jekyll Island Club

The Jekyll Island Club will be hosting a Manager’s Reception and cocktail hour on April 17th from 5pm-6pm to celebrate the hotel’s 125th and 25th anniversaries.  All house liquor, wine and bottled beers are $1.25 and other drinks are 25% off.  Light hors d’oevres will be served.

New England Bounty at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel

Valentine’s Dinner at the Jekyll Island Club

Holiday Fun at the Jekyll Island Club

Need an excuse to travel south for the winter?  The Jekyll Island Club has three upcoming events that might make it worth your while.  High Tea will be served on December 7th in the Grand Dining Room at 3:30pm.  Enjoy sandwiches, scones, soup and an exquisite holiday dessert.  They’ll also have pianist, John Chapman, playing holiday carols for $25 per person.  On December 14th, Chef Brenna Nevill will give a demonstration on how to make a festive holiday soup while Chef Lewie Mashburn will prepare a Turducken with all the trimmings.  You’ll leave with a belly full, and printed recipes to take home for $30 per person.  A Christmas Cookie Workshop will be held on December 21st, at 1:30pm, where you’ll get a dozen cookies to decorate with all the toppings and icings you can imagine.  $10 per cookie maker.  Sounds like festive fun to us!

Enjoy Hunting? Cook Your Game to Perfection!

Brenna and Dustin, chefs at the Jekyll Island Club, will host a Hunter’s Theme Demonstration on October 19th at 1:30pm.  The event will take place in the Jekyll Island Club Hotel Ballroom and you’ll get the opportunity to watch them prepare pheasant ravioli with sage cider reduction and rabbit jambalya with blackened alligator tail.  The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions and everyone will get a print-out with easy-to-follow recipes to take home with them.  A glass of wine will accompany each meal as well.  $30 per person, reservations are required and space is limited, call 912-635-2600 to book your spot.
