Opening champagne reception at Local 11 Ten

Monday, November 5th from 5-6:30pm at Local 11 Ten, 1110 Bull St. Opening  reception for Ikeda Feingold.  These monthly receptions are always lovely and this one looks quite spectacular. Meet the artist and visit with friends.  Show runs November 5th – 30th. Free and open to the public. Complementary champagne and hors d’oeuvres.

A Fondue Lover’s New Year’s Eve

The Melting Pot on Broughton Street is taking reservations for their New Year’s Eve dinner.  $50 per person (excluding tax and 20% gratuity) for a 4 course, pre-fixed, champagne inspired menu!  You get to choose between 2 cheese fondues to start, the second course is your choice of salad, the third course entree features Teriyaki Sirloin, Cilantra Pesto Shrimp Citrus Infused Pork Tenderloin, Herb Crusted Chicken, with black bean salsa ravioli and fresh veggies.  Finish it off with a choice of Mint Chocolate Chip, Flaming Turtle, or Banana’s Foster fondues for dessert.  Sounds heavenly to us!

Last Chance for Tickets!

Champagne reception for Anne Osteen

Local 11 Ten will host an exhibition by the noted artist, Mrs. Anne Osteen,  tomorrow, Oct. 25, at 5 pm., 1110  Bull St.  Complimentary hors doeuvres will be served.  This extraordinary artist’s work is part of  the permanent collections of SCAD, the Telfair, Jepson and Hyde museums.

Eos Second Saturday Wine Soiree

Partridge in A Pear Tree

For an intriguing holiday cocktail, the folks at Oronoco offer us this little gem.
Patridge in a Pear Tree
  1.5 oz Oronoco (Brazilian White Rum)
  A Quarter oz pear liqueur
  Half an oz pomegranate juice
  1 tablespoon Champagne

In a cocktail shaker, shake the rum, pear liqueur and pomegranate juice with ice. Pour into a chilled martini glass and top with champagne.

Sounds good to us!
