Taste of Hope Fundraiser

Attention all Savannah Foodies!  This event on Feb. 17th, will feature bites from all of your favorites.  Think Leoci’s, Sisters of the New South, Shane’s Rib Shack, and Gigi’s Cupcakes all under the same roof.  It’s $30 per person to attend the event which will be held at the Charles Morris Center at 7pm.  Proceeds will benefit Urban Hope, a non-profit providing free after-school programs for Savannah kids.  Call 912-398-9811.

Crepe Goorsha

Have you made plans for Leap Day yet?  If not, you might consider booking your reservation for a truly unique dining experience.  Hosted at Tantra Lounge by Crepe A Diem, they’ll be serving their interpretation of a traditional Ethiopian Dinner.  Goorsha means “an act of friendship” and the meal is meant to be shared family style.  It consists of spiced vegetables, stewed meats, and a Crepe Injera or flat bread.  This 3 course meal will be accompanied by wine and will run $30 per person.  Reception begins at 5:30 with dinner following at 6pm.  Call 832-385-2744 to book your reservation.
