The Best New Year’s Eve Menu We’ve Seen Yet!

Leoci’s New Year’s Eve menu is sure to please!  They will start you off with a salad featuring Garden Greens from Bethesda Boys Farm and other fresh ingredients, and finished off with their Raspberry-Balsamic Vinaigrette and a garnish of Bufala Mozzarella.  Next you get a choice of Roasted and Stuffed Eggplant or Brick Oven Garlic Herbed Georgia Shrimp Risotto (so hard to choose).  A cucumber mint sorbet in between, followed by your choice of Poached Maine Loberster Tail with home-made Gnocchi, or a Gorgonzolla Encrusted Filet Mignon.  If you weren’t full already, they complete their dinner with a Sicilian Sponge Cake layered with candied fruit and sweet whipped ricotta cheese. If you haven’t made your reservation yet, be sure to call 912-335-7027 before they run out of spots.  $65 per person, excludes gratuity and tax.

A Fondue Lover’s New Year’s Eve

The Melting Pot on Broughton Street is taking reservations for their New Year’s Eve dinner.  $50 per person (excluding tax and 20% gratuity) for a 4 course, pre-fixed, champagne inspired menu!  You get to choose between 2 cheese fondues to start, the second course is your choice of salad, the third course entree features Teriyaki Sirloin, Cilantra Pesto Shrimp Citrus Infused Pork Tenderloin, Herb Crusted Chicken, with black bean salsa ravioli and fresh veggies.  Finish it off with a choice of Mint Chocolate Chip, Flaming Turtle, or Banana’s Foster fondues for dessert.  Sounds heavenly to us!

Goof news for fish lovers!

Those who love fish know that the name Russo’s is synonomous with “fresh”! Now, finally, Russo’s charming little restaurant next door to the fish and seafood store is now open for dinner Thursday through Saturday, from 5 to 9 pm. Go and enjoy!

Christmahanakwanzika cSpot Celebration

The cSpot is hosting their Holiday Cocktail Party at the Distillery, Wednesday, December 21st from 5:30-7:30pm.  All creative thinking Savannah folk are invited to attend.  They’ll be upstairs in the corner of the restaurant and they encourage you to wear your most hideous Christmas sweater, but it’s not required.

Polk’s Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival is Tomorrow

Venture down to Polk’s Plus Produce at 807 West Hwy 80 in Pooler tomorrow from 10am-3:30pm to shop for some amazing gifts from local vendors.  Over 20 vendors will be there and Santa will be visiting from 10am-1pm.  You can call ahead and reserve a Boston Butt, Ribs, Brunswick Stew, Marinated Cole Slaw or a BBQ Dinner.  They’ll also have Christmas cookies, cupcakes and music.  They are also collecting canned goods for their food drive, so bring a little something to share with those less fortunate.  Sounds like a happening event to us!
