A Fond Farewell

We are sad to inform you that one of Savannah’s most iconic restaurants is set to close.  The Crystal Beer Parlor, which opened its’ doors for the first time in 1933, will officially close on October 24th.  We hope you’ll find time to say goodbye, and let owners Suzanne and Buddy know how much you’ve appreciated their food over the years.  We’ll sure miss that crab soup.

Have you been…

to Five Guys Burgers & Fries?  One of our crew paid a visit and said it was the best burger he’d had in years.  We hear their cajun fries aren’t so bad either.  Located at News Place in Ellis Square, it’s sure to be a hot spot for a lunch on the go.  If you get the chance to go over there, we’d love to hear your comments!

EOS reviewed

My original review of Eos was written just about 10 days after they opened six months ago. I’ve returned so many times since, thought it time I updated a bit. An unabashed taster of my dining companions’ dishes, between theirs and my own, I’ve sampled a lot of food at this charming spot. Check out the new review.
